New: Introducing Our New Issue Page
Contents

We've been hard at work on a big update to the Marker.io issue page—and today, it’s finally live.

If you spend a lot of time reviewing feedback in Marker.io, you’ll notice some big (and small) changes that make the whole experience faster, clearer, and easier to work with.

    Watch the 4-minute walkthrough:

    A new layout

    null

We redesigned the issue page around two main areas:

    • On the left, you’ve got all the content—title, description, comments.
    • On the right, you’ll find context—status, assignee, metadata, and integration info.

It makes the page feel much more structured and scannable. You immediately know where to look.

Comments now flow like a conversation

    null

Before, comments were tucked away on the side. It worked—but didn’t feel quite right. Now, comments sit right below the issue details, like any normal thread.

Finally, edit your title and description

    null

Need to clean up an issue someone submitted? You can now edit the title and description directly inside Marker.io. You’ll also find the history of the Title and Description changes in the activity logs.

Tip: when connected to an integration, Marker.io will automatically add a comment within your integration with letting your team know if the Title or Description was updated.

See integration data without switching tabs

    null

If you’re syncing issues to Jira, Trello, Asana or any other tool, you’ll now see synced metadata directly on the issue page. Reducing context switching by eliminating the need to jump between tools.

    Resize screenshots however you like

Screenshots and session replays are a big part of how users report and understand bugs. Now, you can resize them to fit your workflow—and Marker.io will remember your preferred size.

One less thing to fiddle with every time.

    Small UI details, big impact

We also took the opportunity to clean things up visually:

    • New icon and color for the “Open” status
    • Updated fonts for better readability
    • Cleaner spacing across the board
    • Identify the reporter of the issue in comments (look for the ✎ icon)
    • Copy all metadata in 1-click
    • Better responsive: fixed bugs on mobile and works better on small screens

These small tweaks make a surprisingly big difference, especially when you’re reviewing dozens of issues per day.

    Why this matters

    For you and your team:

    • It’s easier to scan and understand issues
    • Communication feels more natural
    • You get more control and clarity without leaving the page

    What’s next

This update is part of a bigger push to improve how teams triage and resolve feedback inside Marker.io.

A huge thanks to Paddy, who led the development of this entire redesign. The attention to detail and user-focused thinking really shows in the final result.
