New: Introducing Workspace Webhook Notifications
Contents

Connect Marker.io to all your favorite tools—automatically.

We’ve redesigned webhooks so you can manage them at the workspace level. Instead of configuring separate webhooks for each project, you can now set them up once and receive real-time updates for events across all your projects.

    What changed?

Previously, webhooks were tied to individual projects through our deprecated "Webhooks project type." This was limiting for teams managing multiple projects.

    Our new approach provides:

    • Centralized management: Manage all your webhooks from a single place inside your workspace settings.
    • Cross-project coverage: Configure once, and receive events from all projects in your workspace.
    • Multiple endpoints: Add up to 20 webhook URLs—each with their own event triggers.
    • Admin-only access: Only admins can create or update webhooks, ensuring full control and security.

    Perfect for

Workspace webhooks make it easy to connect Marker.io with the rest of your stack—whether you're using off-the-shelf tools or building your own systems.

    • 🧠 Custom dashboards: Send issue data to your internal tools for reporting and analytics.
    • 🔁 Automation tools: Use Zapier, n8n or Make to automate actions whenever an issue is created or updated.
    • 🔔 Notification channels: Post alerts in Discord or Slack when something important happens.
    • 🧩 Unsupported tools: Integrate Marker.io with any service that supports HTTP POST requests.

    Real-world examples

Digital agency: Set up Discord notifications for each client's project channel so account managers get instant alerts.

SaaS team: Send critical bugs to Slack while feeding all data to a custom analytics dashboard.

Enterprise team: Forward issue data to audit systems while creating tickets in unsupported tools.

    How it works

    1. Go to Workspace Settings > Webhooks
    2. Add your webhook URL and select events to monitor
    3. Choose which projects to include (or select all)
    4. Configure multiple endpoints with different triggers

    Available events:

    • issue.created - New issues reported
    • issue.updated (coming soon)- Issue details changed
    • issue.statusUpdated (coming soon)- Status changed
    • issue.assigneeUpdated (coming soon)- Assignee changed
    • comment.created (coming soon)- New comments added

Each webhook includes detailed JSON with issue data, reporter info, browser context, and attachments. Read our documentation →
